Between the ages of 3 and 6, children continue their work of constructing themselves through practical life and sensorial activities. Through a variety of language activities, children begin to speak, read, and write. They work with concrete materials to learn mathematical concepts, including the decimal system, geometry, and fractions.
Students also study the world around them through Geography, Science, Zoology, Botany, History, and Time. One area of the classroom is devoted to music, and art is integrated into other subjects such as math, science, geography, and culture.
Children in this program benefit from three hours of uninterrupted work time, allowing for focus, independence, and self-paced progress.
